OUR APPROACH

JANUARY 2021

VERSATILE is first and foremost my story: as ordinary as it is singular.
That of a 24-year-old graduate who during a pandemic, was torn between finding a job or creating one.
A specialized path: graduated from the École Supérieure du Parfum in 2019 in Paris, I completed about ten internships in major perfume and cosmetics groups.
Then one day, frustration gave way to ambition.

MARCH 2021

Two months after this crazy idea of starting a business, life led us to FLAIR laboratory, an independent perfume creation studio.

It was love at first sight with the perfumers Amélie Bourgeois, Anne-Sophie Behaghel, Camille Chemardin and Elia Chiche.

Together, we would imagine and develop our collections.

OCTOBER 2021

After 10 months of hard work on the concept, choosing packaging, suppliers, defining the offer, Versatile was finally ready to see the light of day.

Our first original collection, composed of 5 Extraits de parfum, is inspired by the everyday life moments we all know and love.

OCTOBER 2022

Summary of our first year:

• 6 alcohol-free Extraits de parfum (a new one launched in June 2022)
• 3 limited edition scented candles
• 100 retailers in 12 countries
• 5 trade shows and pop-ups
• A growing team
• A first fundraising round to industrialize
• Featured in Forbes, M le Monde, Challenges magazines

JUNE 2023

After a successful Tinder date over 5 years ago, it was (finally) time for Pierre, specialized in IT and digital, with a business and strategic mindset but above all, the shadow co-founder until now, to officially join the adventure!

OCTOBER 2023

Summary of our second year:

• 8 alcohol-free Extraits de parfum
• 1 book about perfume
• 30,000+ perfumes sold
• 200 retailers in 30 countries
• About fifteen trade shows, events, pop-ups
• Featured in Vogue, Forbes, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, M le monde, Challenges

JANUARY 2024

Yes, it happens sometimes (often even): breakups. Pierre and Coralie separated for various reasons including the fact that Versatile took over the couple. Nevertheless, the two partners continue their journey together, we remain stronger, determined and united, chin up!

APRIL 2024

VERSATILE PARIS has offered alcohol-free perfumes since the beginning. We've always been between skincare and niche perfumery. In our drive for alternative innovations, we're proud to present our first 3 bodycare products, extending the sensorial skin experience. 3 beauty essentials to take care of yourself from head to toe.

OCTOBER 2024

Summary of our third year:

• 9 alcohol-free perfume extracts
• 6 new bodycare products
• The return of our scented candles
• 65,000+ perfumes sold
• One million in net revenue!!!
• 350 retailers in 34 countries
• Collabs / launch events
• French and international press, still organic and spontaneous
• A team of 6 people

APRIL 2025

As usual, going against industry trends, we decided to launch an even more accessible new range, slightly less concentrated but still terribly addictive! 3 Eaux de parfum concentrated at 20%, still in roll-on format and alcohol-free.

OCTOBER 2025

Summary of our fourth year:

• 11 alcohol-free perfume extracts
• 3 alcohol-free Eaux de parfum
• 6 body care products
• 400 retailers in 30 countries
• Collabs / events (Stuffburn, péniche, Maison Amat) and launch events by key markets (Warsaw, Prague, Barcelona, Madrid)
• French and international press, still organic and spontaneous

APRIL 2026

You dreamed of it? We did it.

5 years after launching our first alcohol-free roll-on perfumes, the brand evolves but stays true to its DNA and values.

Requested since day one, Versatile is proud to present its first 6 perfume extracts in spray format — 5 inspired by our roll-on best sellers and 1 spray exclusive.
